DESCRIPTIONOF WORK
As a Storekeeper 2, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the storeroom. You will oversee the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory of various supplies. In this position, you will have the opportunity to use your independent judgment to determine the best methods and procedures for managing the storeroom. Your responsibilities will also include planning and supervising the work of the storeroom staff, monitoring attendance, and evaluating performance.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the proper handling and delivery of a wide variety of commodities, making your role critical to the overall functioning of the hospital.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of experience in stores control work, including two years of supervisory experience or in charge of a storeroom with considerable volume and variety of commodities; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a standard high school or vocational school; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
