Project Manager - Water & Fire Mitigation & Reconstruction
We are seeking a Restoration Project Manager who takes full responsibility for how a job is run—from initial loss through mitigation, reconstruction, and final closeout.
This role requires someone who understands restoration operations, leads technicians effectively, manages the customer experience, and can accurately scope and write Xactimate reconstruction estimates. The Project Manager is accountable for quality of work, communication, documentation, and overall project execution.
Responsibilities- Manage water and fire loss projects from assignment through final closeout
- Oversee technicians dispatched to assigned jobs
- Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and to company standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer
- Communicate clearly with adjusters, carriers, and internal teams and develop strong relationships
- Write accurate Xactimate reconstruction ("put-back") summaries
- Monitor job progress, documentation, and quality control
- Address issues proactively and professionally
- Strong working knowledge of Xactimate and 2 years experience in put-back
- Background in water and fire mitigation
- Experience leading technicians or field crews
- Understanding of insurance restoration processes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- IICRC certifications are a plus but not required with sufficient experience.
- Base pay 60K-80K based on experience and background
- Commission % tied to estimates written
