Facilities Services Custodian, High School

Overview

The Manheim Central School District is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Custodian to join our team. As a custodian, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our learners, staff, and community members at our newly rennovated High School.

• Performing regular facility care duties:
  You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the school building. This includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom maintenance.
• Ensuring a safe environment:
  You will contribute to the safety of our learners, staff, and community members by promptly addressing any potential hazards or concerns, such as spills, debris, or equipment malfunctions.
• Upholding sanitary standards:
  Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining a hygienic environment. You will be responsible for disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and following proper sanitation protocols.

  The regular shift hours for this position are from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with a half-hour unpaid break. Summer hours are four, 10-hour days with Fridays off, 6 a.m.
  
  -4 p.m.
