Maintenance Technician

Accela Healthcare is currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Full-Time Maintenance Tech to join our team at our Springfield skilled nursing facility. This role is essential to keeping our building safe, functional, and comfortable for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Days: Saturdays, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

Shift: 11a-7p

*** Must be able to be on call for emergencies.****

Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Tech

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to ensure building safety and functionality

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements

• Assist with room set-ups, equipment moves, and facility projects as needed

• Document work orders and maintenance activities

Qualifications for Maintenance Tech

• Prior maintenance experience required (healthcare or long-term care preferred)

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
