General Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY

Performs Maintenance of guest rooms, guest cottages, and Inn. Completes all tasks in accordance with the guideline for performance standards and safety established by the Engineering Dept. Assists the room attendant with heavy cleaning.

Maintenance Manager

Section keys, supplies, equipment and checklists.

Must have the ability to work steadily all day at tasks that require walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and kneeling. Must be able to complete a daily assignments.

Normal schedule varies to include weekends and evenings. Normal 40 hr. week. Schedule may vary according to work availability.

Some cleaning agents and chemicals may be hazardous if improperly used or if contact with skin, eyes or clothing occurs; some heavy lifting, bending and kneeling. Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens.

Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions. Also valid driver’s license. All or some of the skills for the above job.

Preferred prior experience in Maintenance.

Must have ability to read, write, understand and speak the English language.
