We are seeking an experienced EPM SaaS Architect to join Oracle Customer Success Services (CSS) in EMEA
, supporting strategic customers across Continental Europe and, as required, wider regions. You will act as a trusted advisor and solution architect, translating business objectives into secure, scalable, and supportable EPM Cloud designs aligned with Oracle standards and industry best practices
.
This role spans post-sales architecture, implementation advisory, and advanced support
. You will work with customers and internal Oracle teams to resolve complex functional and technical challenges, guide adoption of Oracle quarterly updates, and ensure high-quality outcomes across Oracle EPM Cloud and hybrid EPM environments.
Core Product Focus
- Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM (e.g., Planning, Financial Consolidation, Account Reconciliation, Narrative Reporting, EPM Automate, etc. as applicable)
- Hybrid/on-prem EPM where relevant:
PBCS
, HPCM
, Essbase
, Hyperion Planning
, DRM - Integration and extension patterns across SaaS/PaaS (experience with FMW/PaaS tools is a plus)
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as solution architect / functional advisor for strategic customers across EPM Cloud engagements, including gap analysis, solution design, requirements workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Translate customer requirements into implementable and supportable architectures
, including configuration, security, integration, data, and process design. - Provide post-sales implementation support
: troubleshoot and resolve complex functional and technical issues directly with customers, including escalation management and root-cause analysis. - Partner with Oracle organizations (Support, Product Management, XLOB, Engineering where needed) to drive resolution of critical customer issues and influence product improvements.
- Drive quality and delivery discipline: produce and review requirements documents, functional designs, solution design artifacts
, and knowledge transfer materials. - Guide customers on Oracle quarterly updates
: impact assessment, testing approach, remediation planning, and operational readiness. - Ensure compliance with Oracle and customer change control, audit, and documentation standards
; provide accurate status reporting and timely time entry. - Travel to customer sites as needed (within and outside EMEA) to support workshops, delivery milestones, and stakeholder alignment.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Experience)
Required
- Strong experience designing and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM solutions (architecture + hands-on configuration/support).
- Ability to engage independently with customer business and IT stakeholders to lead workshops
, drive decisions, and articulate trade-offs. - Proven capability to assess solution approaches, estimate effort, identify risks, and propose pragmatic recommendations aligned with Oracle best practices.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear solution specifications
. - Experience working in multi-team, multi-country environments; comfortable operating in a fast-paced customer-facing role.
- English proficiency (written and spoken); additional local European language desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience).
- Willingness to pursue Oracle SaaS certifications as required.
Technical/Domain Strengths (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with integration and automation (e.g., EPM Automate, REST APIs, file-based integrations; basic SQL/reporting).
- Experience with performance considerations (model design, data volumes, calc optimization, Essbase/Planning performance patterns).
- Exposure to workflow, dashboards/reporting, and testing practices/tools.
- Knowledge of FMW/PaaS tools and extension approaches is a plus.
- Experience across more than one industry domain is beneficial.
