Description:

The Retain Associate is responsible for leading activities related to the collection, storage, maintenance, and destruction of retain samples in accordance with Self Care policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role includes identifying trends, recurring issues, and suggesting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain retain sample processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Receive and collect retain samples (Chemical Raw Materials, Packaging components, finished products) from Sampling and Inspection, Packaging, and other departments. Log samples in the retain samples log books or electronic systems.
  • Ensure samples are stored under specified temperature and humidity conditions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to team members on retain sample processes.
  • Perform Annual Visual Inspections as per AVI procedures and report results to relevant departments.
  • Manage activities related to the identification and destruction of expired retain samples following applicable procedures.
  • Review documentation regularly for inconsistencies or errors.
  • Verify retain room inventory regularly.
