The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced professional to lead data-driven initiatives within our HSIO Connectors/Over Pass division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys deep statistical analysis, and prefers to work behind the scenes rather than in reactive customer-facing roles. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building a data analytics function from the ground up, supporting quality and engineering teams with insights that drive process control and automation readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of a data analytics function focused on quality and ongoing reliability testing (ORT).
- Analyze large datasets to support decision-making around AI camera systems and automation implementation.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to apply Six Sigma, Black Belt, and process control methodologies.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to junior engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven problem solving.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support customer inquiries through robust data analysis.
- Provide strategic insights without direct responsibility for managing large teams or reactive quality support.
- Travel internationally as needed to support global initiatives, including visits to China, Vietnam, and other sites.
- Master's degree in Statistics or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, ORT, and automation technologies.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Comfortable working independently and leading through influence.
