Location: Remote supporting EST working hours

The Technical Engineer with strong Pega expertise will focus on designing, building, and optimizing enterprise workflows on the Pega Platform, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and Build:
    Create case types, flows, UI rules, and data models on the Pega Platform (v7.x / v8.x).
  • Integrations:
    Implement and troubleshoot integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, MQ, databases).
  • Performance & Security:
    Conduct performance tuning and enforce security/access control best practices.
  • Collaboration:

    Work within Agile/Scrum teams, partnering with business analysts, QA, and Dev Ops.
  • Consulting Excellence:
    Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong expertise in Pega Platform (v7.x / v8.x).
  • Proven experience as a Technical or Lead Pega Architect on large‑scale implementations.
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Case Management, Flows, and UI rules
    • Data modeling and decisioning
    • Pega performance tuning and optimization
    • Security and access control
  • Hands‑on experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, MQ, databases).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Pega migrations and upgrades.
  • Pega certifications such as:
    • Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA)
    • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Exposure to Dev Ops tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in regulated industries (Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance).
  • Consulting experience.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $65 to $90/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
