Lead IT Infrastructure-Integrator Engineer; OpenStack & Private Cloud IRC

Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Open Stack to design, implement, and maintain scalable private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in managing private data centers and will play a key role in ensuring infrastructure availability, performance, security, and reliability across the organization.

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of private cloud infrastructure, supporting mission‑critical workloads, automating provisioning and monitoring, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Open Stack deployment and administration
• Proficient with Linux and Windows systems administration (Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, Hyper
  
  V)
• Understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, SDN, VXLAN, firewalls, routing, load balancing)
• Experience in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Strong understanding of storage systems (Ceph, NFS, iSCSI, Swift, etc.)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Solid understanding of IT security principles (IAM, TLS, auditing)
• Knowledge of LDAP, FQDN, DNS
• Knowledge of Elastic search, Postgres
• Knowledge of message queues (MQTT or Rabbit Mq or Kafka)

• Design, deploy, and maintain Open Stack-based private cloud infrastructure
• Manage the lifecycle of Open Stack services
• Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity planning, and resource utilization
• Implement high‑availability and disaster recovery strategies
• Develop and manage infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible
• Ensure security and compliance through patching, auditing, and best practices
• Maintain hardware infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking in datacenters
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure‑related incidents and problems
• Collaborate with Dev Ops, network, and application teams to support cross‑functional requirements
