Cryptocurrency Mining Operations Technician (ASIC / Site Ops)

This position is a mix of preventive maintenance and site operations (≈70%) and technical troubleshooting / IT support (≈30%). You’ll be responsible for maintaining ASIC miners, responding to operational issues, supporting deployments, and keeping detailed records of all site activity.

Training will be provided, with a focus on developing long-term technical skills and creating opportunities for growth as our Indiana operations scale.

• Perform routine walkthroughs, inspections, and system checks across the site
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve ASIC miner issues to minimize downtime
• Replace hardware components (fans, PSUs, hash boards, cables, etc.) as needed
• Rack, deploy, and install incoming mining equipment in a timely manner
• Perform firmware updates, software resets, and basic configuration tasks
• Clean and maintain mining containers, pods, and surrounding work areas
• Replace and clean air filters; blow out equipment as required
• Monitor machine performance and escalate recurring or systemic issues
• Receive, inventory, ship, and document data center equipment
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, incidents, and daily activity
• Submit daily and weekly reports to off-site leadership
• Manage and update internal service tickets as needed
• Assist during outages or emergencies; on-call availability as required
• Follow all safety protocols and site procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training is a plus)
• 0–2+ years experience in IT, operations, manufacturing, construction, electrical, shipping, or troubleshooting
• Familiarity with computer hardware; ASIC or data center experience is a plus but not required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently
• Positive, professional attitude and strong attention to detail

• Ability to lift and carry 30–50 lbs.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods (up to ~6 hours/day)
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, loud, and industrial environments
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
