Job Description:

• Responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing legacy application software, and production support for systems with medium complexity.
• Primary DXC client point of contact in the COS area.
• Qualifications include good organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good time management skills, ability to work independently and effectively communicate with team members and customers.
• The applicant must be capable of working at a broad technical level and must be able to apply business knowledge and technical skills to systems development.
• Position requires 6+ years of programming and related experience as outlined above.
• Mainframe application skills and experience are required. Skills and tools include (but not limited to): COBOL, IMS, DB2, MFS, DLT0, Debugger, Syncsort, TSO and other IBM Z/OS mainframe technologies and utilities. ADF knowledge and experience are pluses.
• Manufacturing experience (preferably in the steel industry) is highly recommended.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred.
• Six or more years of support services or project or program experience.
• Experience working with the technology industry.
• Experience working with company products and operating systems.
• Experience working with computer systems and their use.

• Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
