Business Analyst – ERP (Philadelphia, PA)

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with a strong background in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to join our growing team. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, drive process improvements, and ensure successful implementation and optimization of our ERP system.

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders across business units to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements.
  • Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions leveraging ERP functionalities.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
• ERP System Expertise
  • Advise on best practices, system capabilities, and limitations using extensive ERP experience.
  • Demonstrate hands‑on experience with Oracle Application ERP modules (Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, New Product Development).
  • Understand integration points between ERP modules and external systems.
• Solution Design & Configuration
  • Collaborate with developers and solution architects to design and configure solutions that meet requirements.
  • Participate in system testing, including test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues with IT support and vendors.
• Process Improvement & Optimization
  • Identify opportunities for process standardization and optimization within the ERP landscape.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and conduct sessions for end‑users.
  • Support change management activities related to ERP implementations and upgrades.
• Project Management Support
  • Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of ERP projects to ensure on‑time, on‑scope delivery.
  • Provide regular updates to managers and stakeholders on status and risks.
  • Document project artifacts, including designs, configuration documents, and training materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Business Analyst with significant focus on ERP systems.
• Demonstrable experience with at least one major ERP platform (e.g., Oracle Application ERP, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Net Suite).
• Strong preference for proven experience in Oracle Application ERP (Oracle E‑Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP) across multiple modules.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of business processes in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, New Product Development.
• Proficiency in creating clear documentation (functional specifications, process flows, test plans).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

• Certifications in Oracle Application ERP modules or other relevant ERP systems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with reporting tools and data analytics within an ERP environment.
• Experience with system integrations and data migration processes.
