Human Resources Generalist

Accela Healthcare is seeking a knowledgeable and approachable Human Resources Generalist to support our team and help foster a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on — someone who can balance compliance, employee relations, recruitment support, and culture-building in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

• Support full-cycle recruitment efforts including posting, screening, interviewing coordination, and onboarding
• Conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of required employment documentation
• Maintain accurate personnel files and HRIS records in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding policies, benefits, and workplace concerns
• Assist with employee relations matters, coaching, documentation, and investigations
• Track and manage leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and benefits enrollment
• Support performance management and corrective action processes
• Assist with audits, surveys, and regulatory compliance related to healthcare and labor laws
• Promote employee engagement initiatives and help maintain a positive workplace culture

• 2 years of Human Resources experience required
• Healthcare or long-term care experience required
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems preferred
