Payroll Specialist Key Responsibilities
Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and company policies
The Payroll Specialist will maintain payroll records and documentation to support audits and reporting requirements
Assist with payroll tax filings and ensure timely payments
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping
The Payroll Specialist will collaborate with HR and accounting departments to resolve payroll-related issues
Support month-end and year-end payroll reporting and reconciliation
Preferred Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist Role
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of payroll processing or accounting support experience
Familiarity with payroll systems and tax regulations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
