What You’ll Do as a Payroll Specialist
Process payroll for multiple clients across various industries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
The Payroll Specialist will maintain payroll records, manage deductions, and ensure timely and accurate tax filings
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from clients and employees, researching and resolving discrepancies efficiently
The Payroll Specialist will stay current on payroll laws and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance
The Payroll Specialist will collaborate with HR, accounting, and finance teams to streamline and improve payroll processes
Assist with year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s and 1099s
What We’re Looking For in a Payroll Specialist
3+ years of payroll processing experience; multi-client or multi-state experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and compliance requirements
High attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
