Human Resources Partner

We look for professionals with previous experience in Human Resources or who hold a higher-level degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in a related subject.

Our profile

• Hold a higher-level degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in a relevant subject and/or have previous hands-on experience in the area of Human Resources
• Have previous overseas work experience or equivalent, preferably in the Human Resource sector
• Possess strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills, and are able to manage personal stress well
• Are highly organised team players
• Possess training and skills in project management and people management — especially the developing, coaching, and supporting of staff

The Human Resources Partner drives Medair’s operational strategy with its people strategy by providing strategic and operational HR support throughout the employee lifecycle. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, the role fosters a people-focused culture, ensures compliance, promotes Medair values and drives continuous improvement for a better employee experience. The HR Partner leads initiatives that improve organisational capability, focusing on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, individuals and organizational development and HR processes.

Medair’s Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC) is a one-week simulation course that will help determine if a humanitarian career with Medair is the right fit for you, and if you are a strong fit for Medair. After participating in the course, you will enter a “pool” of qualified candidates that are ready to be called upon to respond to humanitarian crises.

When needs arise in our country programmes, we will offer you a position in line with your competencies and our needs. If you apply for an international position, the ROC will be mandatory for you to work in our country programmes.
