The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the employee benefits delivery in assigned countries in EMEA. This role is in direct touch with the internal and external business partners, ensuring the employee benefits package remains competitive and is appropriately delivered for the best talent.
Responsibilities- Support the Osprey project with the separation of part of the Johnson and Johnson business. Prepare, review and update detailed country benefit plan summaries.
- Align with ER/LR, Payroll/Time & Attendance and CSTR on the accuracy of the benefit plan summaries.
- Prepare benefit plan transition strategies in collaboration with CSTR.
- Separate benefit and pension contracts and set up new benefit and pension contracts for the new company.
- Onboard new benefit/pension vendors.
- FYB contents separation.
- Coordinate the separation of benefits HR data flows between Workday, FYB and third-party vendors.
- Ensure stakeholders, benefit vendors and employee communications regarding benefit/pension plan changes.
- Support impacted employees on benefit and pension queries with AskGS.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for benefits or pension policies and procedures; provide training and support to other HR teams and employees as needed.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by documenting and sharing relevant experiences; create a knowledge database for future reference.
- Identify opportunities and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of benefits and pension programs and administration processes.
- Respond to complex employee inquiries/cases related to benefits, pension or leaves, providing exceptional customer service and solutions to enhance engagement and understanding of benefits options.
- Languages:
English (fluent spoken and written); any other language is an advantage (French, German, Spanish, Italian). - Proficient with using datasets, MS Office and analytics for insights and decision making. Experience with Workday, Service Now, SFDC is an asset.
- Experience in benefits delivery or related HR function with strong understanding of employee benefit programs including risk, health, wellness, retirement, and voluntary benefits.
- Very good communication and negotiation skills; able to interact with people at all levels.
- Experience in leading projects, process redesign and new implementations.
- Experience in working with benefit brokers, 3rd party vendors and benefit/pension administration activities.
- Able to work independently on projects and take responsibility for own delivery.
