Responsibilities
  • Full knowledge of the status of every guest room in the hotel.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Utilize the computer software to input property specific data.
  • Effectively utilize the computer software to analyze hotel trends.
  • Effectively organize the room’s inventory according to hotel occupancy on a daily basis.
  • Black all room reservations according to the guest’s preferences and hotel occupancy.
  • Work with the sales department to help coordinate the blocking of group functions.
  • Review PMS inventory and house count for availability and rates.
  • Maintain and market special guest programs.
  • Facilitate guest room amenity deliveries.
  • Perform Front Desk Agent responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to maintain, organize, and analyze guest surveys.
  • Ability to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Company standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required and a minimum of one year guest service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous Experience as a Front Desk Agent, 1 year minimum preferred.
  • Previous experience in a 4-to-5-star hotel (and the quality and services expectations associated therewith) preferred.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
