Company Overview

Lakewood Park Events, LLC encompasses Catalpa Grove Event Venue, Lakewood Park Campground, and Lakewood Park Cafe all situated on the historic Lakewood Park Property in Barnesville, PA. With over 110 events hosted annually and a growing campground with 130+ sites, we are dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests. Our campground store includes retail space and cafe along with a future full bar (all open to the public).

Our campground is open year round.

Role

Part-Time

Hours

Varied based on work schedule. May work as scheduled (though not limited to):

  • Weekdays and Weekends from 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Weekend nights typically from 10PM to 2AM
  • Your schedule is typically set two weeks in advance.
Job Description
  • Assist with Cleaning Cabins, Bathhouses, Cafe, and Event Venue
    • Cleaning surfaces, bathrooms, showers, and floor mopping
    • Removing Trash
    • Replacing Linens (e.g. towels/bed linens/table linens)
    • Replenishing condiments/hygiene items
  • Assist with Venue flipping for next event
    • Assist with setting up event space based on the next event.
    • Assist with putting on linens, glassware, napkins, and chair covers as applicable
  • Assist with Groundskeeping as needed
    • Weed and trim flowerbeds around venue/cabin/campground/cafe
  • Drive Golf cart around within the park to different work locations
  • Assist as a helper for an event at Catalpa Grove if needed
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Experience / Requirements
  • 1+ years of housekeeping/cleaning experience
  • Experience with setting up for events/weddings a plus
  • Able to lift 30lbs
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Good communicator and time management skills
  • Able to pass drug screenings
