Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Indiana

Overview

Experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant needed for an innovative, hands-on role. Full Time - Indiana, PA. Senior LIFE is a home and community based Medicare and Medicaid funded program providing all-inclusive healthcare services to seniors living in the community. Our team is committed to partnering with our seniors to remain at home through open communication and shared decision making while delivering excellent care and services.

• Assisting in the development of comprehensive, integrated treatment programs for members
• Executing select treatments in accordance with OT and interdisciplinary Plans of Care
• Assessing homebound members’ needs, including home visits, comprehensive evaluations and ongoing follow up, as needed
• Training outside caregivers, family members, and Senior LIFE staff in relevant OT protocol and procedures
• Providing ongoing training and support to members and families to promote maximum independence and safety for in-home participants
• Documenting all member care and updating care plans as necessary
• Maintaining up-to-date records in Data Pace and ensuring accessibility for the interdisciplinary team

• Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Pennsylvania
• Commitment to participating in required educational training and workshops for license retention
• At least one year of experience working with the elderly population
• Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge during the interview process
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
