About the Role:

The Dietary Aide at Meadow View Nursing Center plays a vital role in supporting the nutritional and dietary needs of our residents. This position ensures that meals are prepared, served, and delivered in a timely and hygienic manner, adhering strictly to dietary guidelines and infection control protocols. The Dietary Aide collaborates closely with the dietary team and nursing staff to accommodate special dietary requirements and preferences, enhancing the overall well‑being of residents.

This role requires attentiveness to detail, patience, and the ability to follow both written and oral instructions accurately to maintain high standards of food service and safety. Ultimately, the Dietary Aide contributes significantly to creating a positive dining experience that supports the health and comfort of all residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established dietary plans and safety standards.
• Ensure all food items are handled and stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
• Deliver meals to residents in a courteous and timely manner, accommodating special dietary needs as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils following infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and healthcare staff to communicate resident needs and ensure compliance with dietary instructions.
