Behavioral Health Technician – Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.
Part Time (Hourly), FLSA Classification:
Non-Exempt
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in community-based settings for children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families.
- Settings may include home, school, camps, daycare, and other community environments.
- Supervised by a Qualified Mental Health Professional, collaborates with an interdisciplinary treatment team and implements specific treatment goals.
- Focuses on sound clinical interventions and supportive services to help children/adolescents maintain and function in the least restrictive setting.
Flexible hours up to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications / Requirements- High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing behavioral health services
- Behavioral Health or Behavior Analysis certification from an accredited organization
- Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
Reimbursement based on education and experience.
Bi‑Lingual/Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance coverage.
