Behavior Specialist

Based in the Murrysville / Monroeville area, this full‑time position requires traveling throughout Westmoreland, Washington, and Allegheny Counties to provide services to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The schedule is 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

• Perform functional assessment and develop strategies to support participants, including social‑emotional plans, functional behavioral analyses, behavior plans, restrictive procedures, and associated documentation for tracking implementation.
• Provide on‑site training to participants, staff, parents, and caregivers and monitor participant success.
• Develop effective behavior support plans for the care team and evaluate participant progress.

• Master’s Degree in Human Services or a closely related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Current driver’s license and valid auto insurance.

• Coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience working with adults with an intellectual disability.
• ABA Certification.
• Trauma‑informed care credentials such as Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) or Trauma‑Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF‑CBT).
• PA Behavior Specialist Licensure.
