Caregiver Needed, Immediate Opening, days weekends and nights

Interim Healthcare Mid-Atlantic is looking for a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to provide client-centered care to a resident with limited mobility in Reading, PA. The position is full-time with flexible scheduling (3 days a week day shifts, some weekends, some nights). Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in PA.
• One year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid PA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is encouraged
• Experience working with clients who have limited mobility
• Compassionate and helpful nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
