OverviewThe Hygiene Specialist (Supply Chain / Modules) role ensures consistent, GMP‑compliant hygiene governance across Supply Chain modules and interfaces. You will hold end‑to‑end accountability for implementation, control, and continuous improvement of hygiene concepts, including SOP ownership, training, monitoring, and audit readiness. Acting as the single point of accountability, you will support inspection robustness and risk prevention across Central Supply Chain areas in Visp, operating with a high level of autonomy and cross‑functional responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end hygiene governance for all Supply Chain modules and interfaces, ensuring GMP‑compliant implementation, control, and continuous improvement across MC1, MC2, and the Central Warehouse.
- Develop, implement, and maintain hygiene‑related SOPs, standards, and concepts (e.g., cleaning, gowning, housekeeping, pest control) aligned with quality and regulatory expectations.
- Monitor hygiene compliance through routine assessments and walkthroughs, identifying risks and driving timely mitigation.
- Train and coach Supply Chain teams on hygiene requirements, behaviors, and best practices to ensure consistent, compliant execution.
- Lead hygiene‑related deviations, investigations, and CAPA activities in partnership with QA, Operations, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the key contact for hygiene topics during customer audits and authority inspections for Supply Chain‑owned areas.
- Support hygiene activities linked to room qualification, environmental monitoring interfaces, and operational readiness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Chemical Engineering.
- Min. of 5–10 years of experience in GMP operations, hygiene, or cleanroom environments.
- Strong expertise in GMP hygiene and cleanroom concepts.
- Ability to assess hygiene risks, identify gaps, and define preventive measures.
- Experience in root cause analysis and CAPA management.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical operational standards.
- Strong communication skills across Operations, QA, and Supply Chain.
- Structured, independent working style with high attention to detail.
- Business‑fluent German and English.
