Shift: 9:15am - 5:45pm Monday thru Friday, Weekends 7:00am - 1:00pm.

Location:

North Outpatient Lab.

• Provide general laboratory services including specimen collection using routine venipuncture, order entry, blood component preparation, and pre-analytic processing of specimens.
• Perform related clerical tasks such as entering orders into the system, answering calls, and managing faxes. May involve patient and specimen registration and delivery of specimens.
• Support the laboratory with customer service and teamwork to ensure accurate and timely test processing.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program; experience in a laboratory or coursework in biological, chemical, or related science preferred.
• May require a valid Indiana Operators license and a good driving history for the last three years.
• Understanding of traffic laws in the State of Indiana may be required.
• Proven understanding of computers and telephone skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
• May serve on committees or projects contributing to the department’s purpose and essential functions.
