Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) - Specialized Adult Residential
Passavant Memorial Homes is seeking responsible, caring, and dedicated people to fill full-time Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) positions in the Delmont area. Available full-time positions include evening shifts and overnight shifts.
Therapeutic Staff Support positions provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health, and behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include activities such as preparing meals, administering medication (upon completion of certification; training provided), and providing transportation to work or community activities. To be successful in this role, you must be compassionate, motivated to help others, and dedicated to providing quality support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE THERAPEUTIC STAFF SUPPORT (TSS):
- Provide direct care services and specialized care in daily living, social and recreational activities.
- Provide assistance and support to foster maximum independence of individuals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the individual support plan.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals.
- Assist and encourage individuals to engage in various activities in the home and community.
- Observe individuals’ behaviors and changes in physical condition, utilize prescribed strategies to assist the individual, and document and report accordingly.
- Administer medications (upon completion of certification; all necessary training is provided).
- Perform needed housekeeping and cleaning duties (home and vehicle).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE THERAPEUTIC STAFF SUPPORT (TSS):
- Minimum of 21 years of age, required.
- Valid driver’s license, required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (Official transcripts must be supplied), required.
- Two years of experience working with children with mental health, required.
OR
- Associates degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university in a related field (Official transcripts must be supplied), required.
- Four years of experience working with children with mental health, required.

* The $22.50 hourly rate is applicable to many available block shift positions with a 50-cent per hour block rate premium. Regular shifts are at $22.00 per hour.
* Prospective employees hired for a Full-Time TSS Position will receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Payouts occur in two installments based on completion of specified employment milestones. Sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires from January 1, 2025, through September 30, 2025.
