Contract Pay Range-$53.00 - $65.00 (This position is a 1099 with no benefits)

Come join our growing team at Embracing Abilities! Embracing Abilities is seeking energetic, caring and motivated individuals to work with individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who receive service through the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program.

The Behavior Consultant works as a member of the consumers Interdisciplinary Support Team to assist them in achieving their individual life goals. This will be achieved by providing ongoing behavioral supports to individuals, their families, caretakers, and staff. With support from the Director of Behavior Services, the Behavior Consultant will provide direct and indirect service to consumers, their families, staff, and/or caregivers that is focused on the individuals Person Centered Individual Support Plan.

Responsibilities
  • Experience conducting and writing FBA and BSP - Required
  • Plan appointments around yours and your client’s schedules
  • Assess behavioral functions
  • Create and implement consumer behavior support plans.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum Master's degree from an accredited college or university. The degree must be in social work, psychology, counseling, applied behavior analysis or special education.
  • Experience or training in the field of developmental disabilities. Minimum 1 year required.
  • Work with assigned clients as well as the ability to train and mentor others.
  • Background check required.
  • Positions may require some evenings and on call phone support.
  • Indiana Waiver

    Experience:

    1 year (Required)
  • FBA and BSP Writing/Implementation: 1 year (Required)
  • Developmental disabilities: 1 year (Required)
  • No non-compete clause.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Waiver experience a plus.
  • LCSW, LMHC or LMFT preferred but not required.
  • Experience in ABA a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid.
  • Crisis Intervention Training.

This position requires a minimum of a Master's degree. Please do not apply if you do not have a Master's degree in one of the above fields.
