Responsibilities- Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in-person visits as determined.
- Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services.
- Perform responsibilities described in the SCRIBE job description.
- Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
- Ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
- Engage with clinical leadership to elevate to management when appropriate and ensure adherence to company values.
- Meet patient volume goals targeted for telehealth and in-patient care when applicable.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
- Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Deliver patient care with in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations focusing on safety, cost, and accuracy.
- Ensure all activities comply with department expectations and regulatory requirements including HIPAA and health information management.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment in both in-patient clinic and virtual settings.
- Respond promptly to queues of telehealth patients and ensure proper follow-up.
- Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; responsibly prescribe medications; and educate patients on continued treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
- Attest to and follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and participate in E/M training.
- Operate within standard NP protocols and comply with mandatory compliance training.
- Adhere to the company core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
- Suggest improvements to enhance patient experience and care within the clinic and telehealth programs.
- Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
- Welcome new employees, conduct introductions, clinic tours, and overview clinic processes; assist with learning activities and required training.
- Support new employee training through job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching opportunities.
- Maintain professional relationships with all staff and foster a positive work atmosphere.
- Fulfill physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental demands of the position as specified in the job description.
- Remain knowledgeable about and comply with company standards of operations and confidentiality.
- Consult with patients through virtual channels and demonstrate proven experience as a Telehealth Clinician.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- PRN employees: minimum of 4 shifts per month;
Full-time: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend.
- On-call responsibilities periodically throughout the year for Ancillary Providers.
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (urgent care, occupational medicine facility, ER/trauma, or family practice strongly preferred).
Licensure and Certification:
- Active license and DEA in good standing; DEA required for all providers and will be obtained within 120 days if not yet licensed…
