Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary Of The PositionBehavior Consultant (BC) and Mobile Therapist (MT) candidate holding a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work. This is a hands‑on position providing therapeutic services to children, youth, and families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct therapy and counseling:
Engage participants and families to offer personalized support and guidance. - Develop and implement treatment plans:
Create and execute tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual and family. - Champion YAP's Philosophy, Mission, and Core Principles:
Embrace and advocate for Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.'s mission, philosophy, and core principles in all aspects of your work. - Services are provided in home, community, and school settings.
- Opportunity for Licensed Supervision may be available.
Flexible hours; up to 40 hours per week.
Position offers competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursements.
Qualifications / Requirements- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Strong clinical skills and training or coursework in Behavioral Modification with at least one year of experience.
- License needed (LSW, LCSW, LPS, or LBSC) to work with children on the Autism Spectrum. Licensed professionals are compensated at a higher rate.
- Experience in providing therapeutic services to youth and families.
- Experience working with at‑risk youth and families.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required.
