Job Description

Leta Loving Homecare Services is seeking compassionate and reliable overnight caregivers to support clients in their homes during nighttime hours. This role is ideal for caregivers who are calm, attentive, and capable of monitoring clients throughout the night while ensuring their comfort and safety.

Shift description:

Monday-Thursday 7:00 pm
-7:00 Am

Responsibilities:

• Monitor client during sleeping hours to ensure safety and well-being
• Assist with toileting or incontinence care during the night if needed
• Help client with safe repositioning or mobility assistance in bed
• Provide support during nighttime wakeups (e.g., confusion, anxiety, restlessness)
• Ensure the environment is safe and free from fall risks
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying common areas or changing bed linens
• Prepare light meals or snacks if requested by the client overnight
• Document observations or changes in condition and report to the office or family as needed
• Maintain a calm and reassuring presence at all times

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in home care or other related fields
• Reliable transportation
• Good time management
• Two-step PPD
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to work well in teams
