Medical Assistant CMA

Main Line Fertility is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time position on our team of professional clinicians. The ideal candidate will educate, treat, inform and prepare patients for their appointment. Candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships, working well on a collaborative team and delivering the very best in compassionate, patient care.

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30 pm OR 7:30am - 5:00 pm, with weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting physicians with patient care
• Prepare patients for exams or treatment including taking patient history, vitals and phlebotomy
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms as needed and ensure they are fully stocked for patient care
• Perform and assist with general administrative tasks such as contacting/scheduling patients
• Document patient care and maintain electronic patient records in compliance with all regulations and policies ensuring accuracy and in a timely manner

Skills & Requirements:

• Completion of Medical Assisting program with Medical Assistant Certification or Phlebotomy Certification is required
• High school diploma or GED, required
• Phlebotomy experience required - certification preferred
• 2 years of healthcare experience required
• Proficiency in keyboarding skills and experience electronic medical records
• be knowledgeable of HIPAA requirements
