Activities Aide

At Accela Healthcare, we believe life should be celebrated every day—and that includes the lives of our residents. We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Aide to join our team full-time and bring joy, engagement, and creativity to our residents’ daily experience.

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading group and individual activities for residents.
• Encourage participation to promote socialization, physical movement, mental stimulation, and overall well-being.
• Help set up, run, and clean up after activities and events.
• Provide companionship and one-on-one support to residents who may not participate in group programs.
• Assist with documenting participation and feedback for activity programs.
• Work collaboratively with the Activities Director and care team to ensure activities are inclusive and meaningful.

• Previous experience in a recreational, activities, or caregiving role (preferred, but not required).
• Creativity, energy, and a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine compassion for the elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
