• Provide safe and appropriate care for all Pocono Center residents.
• Be responsible for supervision of residents and ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met.
• Assist in hygiene tasks such as showering or toile tatoing.
• Support individuals throughout daily routines, including joining them in community outings.
• Attend in‑service training programs to develop skills.
• Perform related duties, special assignments, and projects as assigned by coordinator.

Starting rates $17.75‑20.24 hr depending on education/experience. On‑Call: $21.25/hr.

Build your own rate up to $21.80/hr (maximum experience and C.N.A.) with the shift differential and our TOB Exchange program realização.

• Exchange 40 hours of Time Off for an additional .38 cents per myth, or 80 hours for an additional .77 cents.
• Additional $0.30 Evening shift differential, $0.50 Overnight shift differential.
• Additional .29 cents per hour if you have an active C.N.A.
• Earn an extra $1.00/hour to your base pay if you have an active NADSP Level 1 Certification.

Full‑time, part‑time, and on‑call. Days (7am‑3pm), Evenings (3pm‑11pm), Overnights (11pm‑7am), 9am‑2pm, Power weekend (40 hours Friday through Sunday considered).

High School Diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license required.

One (1) year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults preferred.

The IDEAL candidate will be empathetic, a team player, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent themselves as a positive role model. Additionally, must complete required new‑hire orientation, maintain a strong passion for helping individuals with special needs, and hold a valid license.

Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 50 lbs. or more. Occasional use of computers and office equipment, occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.

Regularly works inside areas adequately lighted and ventilated. Some fluctuations in temperature. Use of protective equipment such as latex gloves, facial mask protective eyewear, and gown. Possible exposure to blood‑borne pathogens. Possible degree of physical involvement in exercising Safe and Positive Approaches.
