Onsite Functional Nutrition Coach-Part Time

This position is ONSITE only, no remote work.

As a Functional Nutrition Coach at Turnpaugh Health, you will work alongside our providers to guide patients on their journey toward optimal health. This role blends nutritional coaching, lifestyle education, and functional medicine principles to support individualized care plans that address root causes, not just symptoms. You'll educate patients, help set realistic and meaningful health goals and provide ongoing support to empower lasting change.

• Partner with providers to deliver functional medicine-based nutrition and lifestyle coaching.
• Create individualized wellness plans, including dietary guidance, habit changes, and supplement protocols.
• Provide one-on-one patient education and motivational support to foster sustainable behavior change.
• Coordinate follow-up care, track progress, and document outcomes effectively.
• Stay current with evidence-based functional health strategies, continuing education, and emerging trends.

• Certification as a Functional Health Coach (e.g. Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA), Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) or similar recognized program).
• Associate or bachelor's degree in nutrition, Health Sciences, or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in health coaching, nutritional consulting, or a similar patient-facing role.
• Solid understanding of functional medicine principles and a root-cause approach to care.
• Comfortable interpreting practitioner notes and basic lab results.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time-management skills.
