As a Home Care Aide, you’ll work 1-on-1 with your clients in their homes, and support them with the following types of activities:

• Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
• Personal activities such as dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals
• Running errands, grocery shopping, and/or accompanying your clients to appointments

• Valid driver’s license or
• Access to reliable transportation
• No experience required, but candidates with a certified nursing assistant (CNA) certification are encouraged to apply
• Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training

Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements. Compensation, benefits, time off, and bonuses vary by state and location, so please ask for complete details at your interview.

Additionally, the following note applies to the sign-on bonus: the $1,000 sign-on bonus is valid for applicants effective 1/1/2025. The bonus is paid in two increments: $500 after the caregiver has worked 500 hours from the start date, and $500 after the caregiver has worked 1,000 hours from the start date. The caregiver must be active at the time of payout and meet electronic visit verification requirements to receive the bonus.

Bonuses are paid within 30 days of eligibility. New caregivers and those who have not worked for Help at Home since before 1/1/2024 are eligible. Caregivers transferring from another organization within the Help at Home portfolio are not eligible for the bonus.
