How You Make a DifferenceThe Assistant Clinical Coordinator collaborates with physicians and care providers to coordinate daily patient care activities, ensuring patient goals are met. The role involves working with patients, physicians, and support staff, performing clerical duties such as updating records, coordinating with units, and responding to inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and coordinate clinic schedules, patient appointments, and maintain necessary lists and schedules.
- Perform clerical duties related to maintaining and updating medical records, chart accuracy, and responding to inquiries.
- Ensure availability of office and medical supplies, and process information related to patient care.
- Communicate effectively by answering the telephone, directing calls to appropriate individuals, and taking messages.
- Collaborate with other personnel within the medical unit and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient flow of information.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
