Description: Could you be our next Surgical Technician at Bryn Mawr Hospital?
Why work as a Surgical Technician?- Make an Impact! Our Surgical Technicians play a key role in facilitating safe and successful surgeries for our patients. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you would check and set up instruments, perform counts, and scrub in to assist the Surgeon at the table during invasive and surgical procedures. Other responsibilities may include handling specimens, assisting with patient positioning and transfers, and participating in OR turnover.

Position: Surgical Technician
Shift: 6:45am - 3:15pm with call requirement
One year of Operating Room experience preferred.
EducationSuccessful completion of an accredited course in Operating Room Technology.
Licensures/CertificationsSurgical Technician Certification (CST) Preferred.
Certified Surgical Technologist (by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required upon hire if surgical training took place on or after 12/29/2020.
