The LTSR Behavioral Health Technician provides direct support, supervision and guidance to the residents. Directly interacts with residents for support of adult daily living skills, social skills, and behavior management. Activities may include supportive counseling, skill development, recreational interactions, crisis intervention, behavior management, time management of the daily schedule for residents, supervision of a variety of activities, advocacy, documentation of behaviors and information, and reporting of behaviors and progress toward goals.

- High School diploma with 6 months of mental health training or experience.
- High School diploma and minimum of 12 credit hours of college education in human services related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field preferred.
- Experience in behavioral health preferred.
- Experience in residential, corrections, or hospital setting considered.
- Experience in psychiatric rehabilitation services, certified peer support services, substance abuse services, forensic services, and/or crisis intervention services considered.
- Valid driver's license, preferred.
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) or Certified Peer Support Professional (CPS) preferred.
