Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting

In this role, you will work under the direction of the Company’s Finance department and will gain valuable Finance expertise and get exposure to different areas of the company.
What You Will Do- Support major accounting and finance projects
, including organizing, validating, and analyzing large data sets. - Assist with financial systems upgrades and process improvements
, helping ensure data accuracy and efficiency. - Build and maintain financial models to support complex accounting calculations and management analysis.
- Help streamline and document processes surrounding significant expense accruals and close activities.
- Assist in the preparation and review of supporting schedules, reconciliations, and analyses used in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and cross‑functional teams to understand how financial data flows through systems and reports.
- Create and update documentation, models, and workflows to support ongoing improvements.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ideal candidate will have completed their junior year, but other class levels will be considered).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office Suite; interest in learning financial systems and tools.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a willingness to work with large, complex data sets.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Prior coursework or experience in accounting and finance (insurance coursework is a plus, but not required).
