SeniorFinance Manager – Corporate & Project Finance Main Responsibilities
As a Senior Finance Manager – Infrastructure & Corporate Finance, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing TiL’s financial strategy as the company continues its rapid expansion across the world. You will lead all aspects of infrastructure and corporate finance activities, including debt structuring, capital optimization, and financial risk management. This senior‑level position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the infrastructure sector, with a proven track record of leading complex financing transactions and delivering results in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Key Responsibilities- Debt Structuring & Execution
- Identify and evaluate funding options in various financial markets.
- Optimize capital structures and manage financing transactions at both holding and terminal levels.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage key financial risks, and build bankable contractual structures acceptable to all parties involved.
- Prepare RFPs, lead negotiation of external debt transactions, and conduct due diligence in collaboration with dedicated finance lawyers; including exchanges with commercial and multilateral/DFI lenders, ECAs, development banks, institutional investors and rating agencies.
- Proactively develop relationships with investors, banks and non‑banking financial institutions.
- Work closely on the preparation of new transactions with key external stakeholders (joint‑venture partners, terminal management) and internal stakeholders such as terminal investment directors, business development team, technical team (civil engineer & equipment), and the tax & legal teams.
- Support the business development team during tenders by coordinating financial submissions, assumptions, and risk allocation.
- Review financial models built by the business development team and prepare sensitivities for each transaction.
- Portfolio Monitoring & Financial Risk Management
- Monitor and report to the CFO, Audit & Risk Committee and Board on the status of financing initiatives, debt covenant compliance, liquidity and risk management.
- Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Investment Analysis team to prepare financing forecasts in long‑term terminal and holding company business plans.
- Monitor financial covenants and dividend distribution performance of terminals.
- Manage a portfolio of existing financings at TiL and terminal levels with the objective to optimize capital structure through refinancing, recap, and shareholder loans.
- Work closely with the Treasury Operations team on interest rate and FX risk management activities.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics and related fields (CFA, RT). MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of international experience in large‑scale infrastructure projects and complex multi‑source financings, either on the project sponsor or lender side.
- Proven track record in structuring and executing transactions involving commercial banks, ECAs, multilaterals, institutional investors, and other financial institutions.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and communication skills with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to build effective relationships based on trust, integrity, consistency, and pragmatism.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on developing team capabilities for the management of complex financing.
