Overview
Location: 2455 Oakland Avenue, Indiana, PA 15701
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm;
Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. (Must be flexible around branch hours)
- Profile customers to determine financial services needs and refer customers to other Line of Business partners when appropriate.
- Open loan and deposit accounts. Achieve individual goals including loan and deposit production and other sales goals as assigned by Branch management.
- Proves competencies in bank operations by:
- Complete the Sales Platform training as assigned by Consumer Bank Training.
- Demonstrate product knowledge, sales aptitude, and service expectations in a successful manner.
- Execute the expectations outlined in the Branch Playbook.
- CARE certified within 6 months of hire.
- Profile customers to determine and recommend appropriate S&T loan and deposit products.
- Utilize all sales tools to enhance the customer experience and sales conversation (examples: Loan Fit, sales binder).
- Complete the S&T Sales process and customer-focused conversations with each customer; document notes in the appropriate system for future view by bankers.
- Input loan applications using appropriate LOS software and coordinate loan document preparation.
- Open new deposit accounts and produce signature cards, certificates of deposit, and other deposit documents.
- Use CARE skills, product knowledge, and knowledge of policies and procedures to suggest additional bank services; make referrals to Mortgage, Wealth Management, Financial Services, Business Banking, Elavon, Elan, Private Banking, Evergreen, Deluxe, and others as appropriate.
- Contribute to Branch goals and sales and service standards as outlined in the branch playbook and detailed by Branch Management.
- Execute professional sales and service behaviors in alignment with Bank’s Our Shared Future values and core drivers.
- Follow up on loans and deposit accounts opened and correct deficiencies or document exceptions in a timely fashion.
- Utilize the Sales & Service guide to complete proposed campaign calls on new and existing customers to generate new business as outlined in the Branch Playbook.
- Assist, as needed, branch management in coaching staff regarding the S&T Sales process and expectations.
- Maintain a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments and business lines. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Complete NLMS requirements as part of the S.A.F.E. Act certification. Proof of registration and a unique identifier are required upon hire and/or must be obtained prior to performing Mortgage Loan Originator duties; maintain registration annually as required by the S.A.F.E. Act.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the branch.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training or a two-year degree.
ExperienceTwo to five years general experience required; specialized experience preferred.
Physical DemandsOperates a keypad device: 70% of the day; operates electronic equipment: 10% of the day; operates office equipment: 10% of the day. Standing 2 hours per day; sitting 5 hours per day. Lift up to 10 lbs. up to 2 times per day; maximum lift 20 lbs. once per day; occasional ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. Typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $41.06
