As part of the Retail Service Risk Management Analytics team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing and executing strategies and initiatives designed to achieve business growth & loss mitigation goals
Business / Department ObjectivesEnhance and improve the Risk policies using statistical techniques to optimize business growth and profits maintaining losses within a Risk Appetite Framework.
In this role, you are expected to:- Support tactical and strategic Risk Analytics New Account originations projects for Citi’s Retail Services Group in the US
- Independently manage development and implementation of effective risk management strategies that maintain portfolios within their defined Risk Appetite
- Apply innovative analytical techniques to customer and transaction data to build risk mitigation strategies and processes
- Apply subject matter expertise to the prioritization and planning of projects in conjunction with risk management policies and strategies
- Must be able to effectively provide updates and communicate key initiatives to senior risk management
- Analyzing tests and performance using SAS and decision tree (CHAID/ CART)
- Evaluating effectiveness of current policies and strategies
- Provide insight into the data through MIS and deeper analytics
- Summarize analytic reports into presentations and share analyses and reports with senior leadership
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline:
Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, And Statistics. Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline:
Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Statistics is preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Skills:Strong analytical skills in conducting sophisticated analysis using bureau/vendor data, customer performance data and marketing data to solve business problems. Good programming skills in advanced SAS and SQL in mainframe, UNIX and PC environments. Highly proficient in Excel/pivot tables and PowerPoint. Credit card industry experience especially in an analytics or policy role is preferred.
