Responsibilities
  • Day to day operational supervision of all revenue audit functions.
  • Supervises auditors in the performance of their duties.
  • Submits and/or reviews daily journal entries to record daily revenue and expense related to the revenue audits.
  • Monthly reconciliation of gl accounts.
  • Ensures compliance with Colorado Division of Gaming system of internal controls, ensures departmental procedures are followed and any discrepancies are documented. Any discrepancies have an incident report noted.
  • Secondary review of all Gaming and Non-Gaming Audits for completeness, accuracy and any discrepancies in accordance with Colorado Division of Gaming Regulations, ACBH internal controls and all departmental procedures.
  • Responsible for preparation of statistical reports.
  • Responsible for scheduling and team member coaching.
  • Responsible for initial training and cross training of Revenue Audit team members.
  • Cooperates with Internal Audit and all external auditors, and responsible for providing requested documentation on a timely basis for all audits.
  • Coordinates and assists in projects related to the Revenue Audit function as needed including new systems implementations and procedural changes.
Requirements
  • Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of applicable state gaming regulations.
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office.
  • 10 key experience.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Two years experience in gaming revenue audit, with proven supervisory experience. Must have experience in all casino audit areas.
  • Understanding of the flow of transactions from the casino floor and F&B outlets through the general ledger and the impact on the income statement and balance sheet.
  • Previous experience of internal control systems preferred.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, and slot accounting systems.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, detail oriented, flexibility in scheduling, able to work varying shifts, and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintian a Colorado gaming license.
