Intuit is looking for a highly motivated individual with business tax preparation experience to help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax Business products. . As a Seasonal Business Tax Associate, you will provide expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers. You will also help shape the direction of our newest product, Turbo Tax Live Business.
- Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products with sound professional judgment.
- Provide tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and address product/software inquiries.
- Maintain sensitive customer information securely and responsibly.
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver accurate answers.
- Interact with customers via our state‑of‑the‑art video communication software (Smartlook).
- Assist Turbo Tax Business customers who are working on or have delegated their tax returns with:
- Tax advice
- Full Service Business return preparation and signature
- Product/software inquiries
- Tax calculations
- Filing tax extensions
- Create high‑quality interactions that instill confidence through deep customer empathy and extensive knowledge of business tax preparation.
- Apply defined practices, procedures, and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve tax advice and return preparation issues.
- Document customer interactions.
- Work continuously toward meeting company key performance metrics and Big Bet Goals.
- Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed.
- Strong business tax preparation experience: 3+ years preparing federal and state business tax returns (Form 1065 and/or Form 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax prep software.
- Minimum 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year in a tax practice or retail setting.
- Minimum 20 hours per week spread across three or more days.
- Bookkeeping experience with books‑to‑tax preparation preferred.
- Experience preparing business tax returns for the service industry preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Working knowledge of Circular 230.
- Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
- Strong customer service skills – ability to interact with customers via video and audio tools professionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with Intuit’s applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit conducts regular pay equity comparisons across ethnicity and gender.
