Senior Accountant 1st shift

Come join our growing team!! Zeigler Bros. Inc. is an established manufacturer of specialty animal feeds for the aquaculture, pet, and bio-medical research industries. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Accountant is a major part of the financial area within the company providing financial analysis and planning, accounting methods, and profit and loss reporting. This position will prepare, review, analyze, and interpret all financial and budget reports; working with the Finance Manager to establish policies and procedures to ensure that all financial and accounting functions are properly managed using checks, balances, and internal controls.

Requirements:

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in accounting or related field experience
• Must possess analytical and organizational management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Operating Systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Must be comfortable communicating with a variety of departments throughout the organization
• Adhere to stringent deadlines for required reporting
• Work well under pressure and be able to multi-task
• Ability to create and work on Excel spreadsheets

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and bend on a continuous basis. Exposure to dust, noise, heat, and cold when in plant facilities. Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, criminal and credit background check.

This position will be onsite with potential to transition at a later date to a hybrid model.
