Giant Eagle - - Responsibilities:
Maintain consistent coverage of Self Checkout activities ensuring all sales are accurately captured while providing unparalleled Guest service in a safe environment.;
Direct traffic flow for speedy checkout and open additional checkout options; assist cashiers as needed.;
Create and manage daily schedules and control sheets for maximum efficiency; dictate break/lunch plan; monitor cash control procedures as needed.;
Take ownership of one or more auxiliary Front End lines of business (gift cards, candy, etc) and act as point person when Front End Leader is not on duty.;
Ensure all compliance activities are completed daily and take ownership of specific compliance topics (AML, scale/PIN pad checks, WIC).
