Responsibilities
  • Exchanges cash and coins in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assists guests with credit applications.
  • Verifies credit approval for casino departments.
  • Cashes personal, travelers, and payroll checks in compliance with approved procedures.
  • Performs credit card cash advances.
  • Records any applicable cash transactions that are required by Federal Law.
  • Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Player Services Department.
  • Issues and receives payments.
  • Balances bank at end of shift.
  • Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow team members.
  • Manages difficult guest situations; responds promptly to guest needs; seeks guest feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
  • Responsible for providing exceptional Marquee Customer Service to all guests.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to read and write English fluently.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other team members of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must have 10‑key calculator and keyboarding skills.
  • Must also have previous experience with jet sort, coin roller, check cashing and credit card cash advance systems.
  • Ability to learn and comply with department, property and regulatory policy and procedure.
  • Must have good math and money handling skills.
  • Ability to work in a smoking/secondary smoke environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required. Reasoning Ability.
