About the role
As a Lead Full Stack QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This role requires you to work in a multi-functional Agile team, where you may be the single QA Engineer, supported by the Quality tribe. You will be responsible for ensuring that software meets both the customer requirements and Quality standards, utilizing an automation first approach.
The role involves close collaboration with international client stakeholders, and occasional business travel to the UK may be required to support programme planning sessions, workshops, and key delivery milestones.

ResponsibilitiesQuality Leadership
- Act as a Quality partner for product delivery teams, embedding best practices in testing and quality engineering
- Drive continuous improvement of quality processes across the product delivery lifecycle
- Promote a quality-first mindset across engineering teams
Domain Expertise
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Energy Billing systems
- Ensure appropriate testing coverage for billing workflows and integrations
- Define and implement test strategies for complex software systems
- Ensure effective test coverage across functional, integration, and automation testing
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate requirements into test scope
- Lead test automation initiatives within delivery teams
- Guide the development and evolution of test automation frameworks
- Support and mentor Automation Engineers to improve automation coverage and reliability
- Work closely with product delivery teams and client delivery teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives
- Support cross-team collaboration across distributed engineering organizations
- Provide clear communication on quality status, risks, and improvements
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher
- 5+ years of software development or QA automation experience using Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience maintaining and executing both manual and automated test harnesses
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Experience with Playwright, Jest or other best in class testing frameworks
- Experience with CLI tools such as GIT
- Experience working with large-scale energy or utilities platforms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
